Tess Harris Fellowship Fund

Last year, PKD Charity, and the wider kidney care community, suffered the profound loss of Tess Harris.

Tess joined PKD Charity in 2004 as a Trustee and quickly became a driving force for change: change in how kidney care is understood, and change in the quality of care and support available to those living with kidney conditions.

She devoted her life to improving treatment, care, and outcomes for others. Her leadership, compassion, and determination have left a lasting legacy within the charity and throughout the wider kidney care community.

As a final act of love for the charity she helped to build, Tess left a gift in her Will to support research. In honour of her extraordinary impact and generosity, we at PKD Charity are establishing the Tess Harris Fellowship Award - a fitting tribute to someone who gave so much of her time, energy, and heart to advancing research and uplifting the community she championed. The Fellowship will empower researchers to make meaningful strides in PKD treatment, progress we believe Tess would have been immensely proud of.
